Je-Yun Chun

I am an atmospheric scientist interested in understanding cloud processes through observations, numerical modeling, and artificial intelligence. His previous research used large-eddy simulations and satellite observations to investigate aerosol–cloud–dynamics interactions, marine low-cloud evolution, and their radiative impacts on climate. His current work focuses on developing radar observational datasets to better understand cloud microphysics and support advances in AI-based modeling, data assimilation, and weather prediction.
